I agree that just making people aware of reactivity is the first/most important step, and I do hope this article will help open some eyes to what exists beyond hooks.

Until Svelte came around, I was pretty unfamiliar with reactivity. I'd crossed paths with rxjs before in an Angular app, but was confused and offput. React was pretty much all that I knew, and I think there's a ton of people in that boat.
